SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Ideate-wedge provides a unified, end-to-end wedge ideation path that bridges greenfield platform-init and brownfield onboarding by standardizing the brainstorm → office-hours → scale flow and producing a single, contract-ready output for wedge-synthesis.

Core Features & Use Cases

Brainstorming using a six-question forcing function to surface a thesis
Office-hours refinement to sharpen the thesis for wedge-synthesis
Scale anchor placement to commit an in-house wedge and name a hyperscale horizon

Quick Start

Provide a hypothesis and scratch directory to trigger the ideate-wedge workflow and generate OFFICE-HOURS-DESIGN-v1.md for downstream planning.

Frequently Asked Questions about ideate-wedge

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I structure product wedge ideation from hypothesis to validated thesis?▼

Product wedge ideation follows a structured flow from hypothesis to validated thesis by coordinating brainstorming, office-hours, and scale-anchor steps to produce a contract-ready design document for downstream synthesis.

When do I need a wedge strategy for greenfield versus brownfield products?▼

You need a wedge strategy for greenfield platform initialization and brownfield onboarding when standardizing the brainstorm to scale flow, ensuring a unified path for committing an in-house wedge and naming a hyperscale horizon.

How does the six-question brainstorming forcing function work for product strategy?▼

The six-question brainstorming forcing function works by surfacing a strategic thesis through structured inquiry, sharpening it during office-hours refinement to ensure it is ready for wedge-synthesis and downstream planning.

What is the best way to generate a contract-ready output for wedge synthesis?▼

The best way to generate a contract-ready output for wedge synthesis is to run the ideation workflow, which produces a design document that enforces a single home for the scale anchor and preserves contracts for downstream planners.

Do I need a scratch directory to start the wedge ideation workflow?▼

Yes, you need to provide a hypothesis and a scratch directory to trigger the wedge ideation workflow, which generates the initial design document required for downstream planning and scale-anchor placement.

Can I use this wedge ideation flow for hyperscale planning?▼

Yes, you can use this wedge ideation flow for hyperscale planning because it includes a scale-anchor placement step that commits an in-house wedge and names a hyperscale horizon for your product strategy.
