What problem does it solve?

This Skill generates a dependency-aware tasks.md from a feature plan (plan.md) and specification (spec.md), enabling structured sprint planning and clear work item decomposition.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Generate a deterministic tasks.md that orders tasks by dependencies derived from plan and spec.
  • Validate plan readiness by parsing plan.md, spec.md, and optional artifacts (data-model.md, contracts/, research.md) to surface prerequisites and parallelization opportunities.
  • Provide a structured, traceable task set with sequential IDs (T001, T002, ...) for reliable execution.

Quick Start

Run the iikit-05-tasks skill on a feature directory containing plan.md and spec.md to produce the tasks.md.
