SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps security/ops teams rapidly identify, triage, and contain runtime Dispatcher incidents in AMS environments using an evidence-first approach that guides remediation and rollback.

Core Features & Use Cases

Evidence-first incident triage using MCP core-7-tools: monitor_metrics, tail_logs, trace_request, inspect_cache, validate, lint, sdk.
End-to-end incident management: symptom capture, impact assessment, containment planning, remediation, and rollback with explicit risks.
Use case: quickly differentiate between a 5xx spike caused by backend instability versus a misrouted request due to vhost changes, and generate a reproducible incident report.

Quick Start

Initiate an incident-response session by quantifying impact with monitor_metrics, collecting logs with tail_logs, tracing the failing URL with trace_request, inspecting cache state, and running validate and lint to produce an evidence-backed incident report.

Frequently Asked Questions about incident-response

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I triage Dispatcher Apache HTTP Server incidents in AMS environments?▼

Triage Dispatcher Apache HTTP Server incidents in AMS by applying an evidence-first workflow across metrics, logs, traces, and cache behavior to determine symptoms, impact, containment, and remediation steps.

What's the best way to differentiate a 5xx spike from backend instability versus vhost misrouting?▼

Differentiate 5xx spikes from backend instability versus vhost misrouting by quantifying impact with monitor_metrics, collecting logs with tail_logs, and tracing the failing URL with trace_request.

How does an evidence-first incident response workflow operate for runtime module failures?▼

An evidence-first incident response workflow operates by capturing symptoms, assessing impact windows, inspecting cache state, and running validation to produce a reproducible incident report with containment and rollback steps.

Can I generate an incident report with containment plans and rollback steps using MCP tools?▼

Yes, you can generate an incident report template with an evidence table, selected tests, containment plan, rollback steps, and explicit risks using the MCP core-7-tools contract.

Does incident response for AMS require specific log formats or trace inputs?▼

Incident response for AMS requires runtime metrics from monitor_metrics, log outputs from tail_logs, and URL path inputs for trace_request to establish evidence-backed incident triage.

Why should I use an evidence-driven playbook for Apache Dispatcher runtime incidents?▼

Use an evidence-driven playbook for Apache Dispatcher runtime incidents to ensure remediation decisions are backed by metrics, logs, traces, and cache behavior rather than assumptions.
