What problem does it solve?

Automates preserving a historical record of each /insights run by archiving report.html, facets, and session metadata before it is overwritten.

  • Snapshots report.html, facets, and session-meta into timestamped archives for each run.
  • Maintains a rolling index at ~/.claude/usage-data/archive/index.md and emits a per-archive meta.json.
  • Enables long-term usage analysis, auditing, and retrieval of historical insights data.
