What problem does it solve?
A centralized set of resources to help me write all kinds of internal communications using the formats the company prefers, reducing time spent on drafting and ensuring consistency.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Guideline-driven writing: Load pre-defined templates and example guidelines from the examples/ directory to shape tone, format, and content.
- Type-aware drafting: Determine the communication type (3P updates, company newsletters, FAQs, general comms) and generate aligned content.
- Content gathering guidance: Suggest sources (Slack messages, emails, docs) to collect information and structure the output.
- Use Case: A product team writes weekly 3P updates and a leadership update using the internal-comms skill to stay aligned with company-wide messaging.
- Note: If the request doesn't match a known guideline, the skill prompts for clarifications in the context.
Quick Start
Identify the communication type and load the appropriate guideline from the examples/ directory (3p-updates.md, company-newsletter.md, faq-answers.md, or general-comms.md) to generate the output.
