What problem does it solve?

Generate a structured Obsidian interview vault from work-log and features data.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Reads data sources (work-log.jsonl, features.jsonl, knowledge-bank/) and assembles five vault collections:
    • 01_Knowledge_Bank/ — topic pages with story links
    • 02_Work_History/ — work log pages linked to features
    • 03_Features/ — initiative-level pages with story outlinks
    • 04_Interview_Stories/ — domain narratives (ISTART, ADR, Entity-Pattern, Algorithm)
    • Meta/dashboard.md — coverage stats and gap analysis
  • Uses managed blocks to preserve user annotations across regenerations
  • Enforces DAG link topology (Work → Feature → Story → KB Topic)

Quick Start

Run the command /interview-generate [output-dir] to build or refresh the Obsidian interview vault.
