What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables developers to automatically build, run, and debug the current iOS project on a booted simulator using XcodeBuildMCP tools, simplifying iteration and troubleshooting.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Build + Run: Build and run the current project scheme on a booted iOS simulator and capture logs.
  • UI Interaction & Inspection: Describe the UI, tap, type, and gesture to inspect on-screen state.
  • Logs & Diagnostics: Start and collect simulator logs and console output to diagnose runtime behavior.
  • Use Case: When asked to run an iOS app, the agent boots a simulator, configures session defaults, builds, launches, and allows interactive debugging and log capture.

Quick Start

  1. Discover a Booted Simulator and set session defaults with the MCP toolchain.
  2. Build and run the app on the selected simulator, or launch an already built app for debugging.
  3. Describe the UI, perform taps and text entry, and capture logs as needed.
