FAQPage Schema

What are the best practices for refactoring a legacy Spring Boot service?▼

Enforcing clean code standards in Java 17+ requires applying conventions for Optional usage, stream pipelines, and strict exception handling. This ensures high readability and maintainability across team collaborations while reducing inconsistencies.

When should I use sealed classes and pattern matching in Java 17+?▼

Sealed classes and pattern matching in Java 17+ should be used to enforce type safety and modernize domain modeling. They provide a standardized framework for clean code structure and reduce technical debt in Spring Boot applications.

Does this Java coding standards framework require Spring Boot?▼

Standardizing Java coding conventions involves enforcing modern language feature usage, strict immutability, and consistent naming. This addresses development inconsistencies by providing a unified framework for code structure and reducing technical debt.

How do I handle exceptions in Java 17+ to ensure maintainability?▼

Exception handling in Java 17+ must follow enforced protocols to ensure robust and readable code. Applying these strict exception handling conventions during architectural refactoring maintains high readability and application stability.
