What problem does it solve?

Registers a new project in a shared PostgreSQL Kanban instance, automating local config creation so the board can route tasks to the correct project.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Auto-detects project name from the current directory when not explicitly provided.
  • Creates per-project config files (.claude/kanban.json and .codex/kanban.json) and ensures consistent board association.
  • Upserts project metadata to a central projects table (best-effort; operates gracefully when the API is unavailable).

Quick Start

Run /kanban-init in your project root to register the project name and initialize its board settings in the central DB.
