SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Decomposition playbooks and anti-temptation rules for orchestrator profiles that route work through Kanban, ensuring no one executes tasks and providing a clear governance framework.

Core Features & Use Cases

Ground the decomposition by discovering available profiles and validating assignee availability before planning.
Enforce the "decompose, don't execute" rule, auto-inject system prompts, and maintain an auditable Kanban trail across multiple profiles.
Support multi-profile workflows with parallel lanes, gated dependencies, recovery/reassignment strategies, and post-action synthesis.

Quick Start

Sketch the task graph from the user's prompt and generate parallel Kanban tasks for each independent lane using the available profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions about kanban-orchestrator

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I route tasks across multiple Kanban profiles without executing them?▼

Kanban task routing across multiple profiles is orchestrated by decomposing prompts into parallel lanes, validating assignee availability, and dispatching gated tasks while enforcing anti-temptation rules to prevent execution.

What is an orchestrator profile in multi-profile workflows?▼

An orchestrator profile in multi-profile workflows is a governance layer that decomposes tasks, links dependencies, and maintains audit trails across teams and roles without directly executing the assigned work.

How do I decompose a complex task into parallel Kanban lanes?▼

Decomposing a task into parallel Kanban lanes starts with sketching the task graph from the user prompt, discovering available profiles, and generating independent gated tasks for each lane.

Can I use Kanban routing for multi-team environments with dependency gating?▼

Yes, Kanban routing supports multi-team environments by linking dependencies, gating downstream tasks, and applying recovery or reassignment strategies to maintain an auditable trail across tenant-scoped profiles.

Why does my workflow execution break when I try to manage tasks directly?▼

Workflow execution breaks when anti-temptation rules are violated, requiring the orchestrator to strictly route and synthesize post-actions rather than executing tasks within the routing layer itself.

Does the Kanban orchestrator support tenant-scoped task management and audit trails?▼

Yes, tenant-scoped task management is supported, auto-injecting system prompts to maintain governance and generating a clear auditable Kanban trail across all routed profiles and dependencies.
