SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill simplifies project workflow management by automating task decomposition and routing within a Kanban system, reducing manual coordination overhead.

Core Features & Use Cases

Task Decomposition: Break down complex projects into manageable subtasks with dependency links.
Automated Routing: Create, assign, and link tasks automatically based on workflow design.
Use Case: A product manager plans a new feature, decomposes it into research, development, and testing tasks, and assigns them to respective specialists with dependencies. The orchestrator ensures proper sequence and transparency.

Quick Start

Issue a command to the AI to decompose a project plan into a structured task graph with dependencies and assignments, then create and link these tasks automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions about kanban-orchestrator

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate task decomposition and routing in a Kanban workflow?▼

Automating task decomposition and routing in a Kanban workflow involves breaking complex projects into subtasks with dependency links and assigning them automatically. This orchestrator creates and links tasks based on structured plans to ensure proper sequence and transparency.

What is the best way to manage multi-agent coordination for complex task graphs?▼

Managing multi-agent coordination for complex task graphs requires routing tasks to respective specialists with dependencies. The orchestrator supports this by ensuring safe, route-only management of the task graph without executing the tasks directly.

How does dependency tracking work for automated project workflows?▼

Dependency tracking for automated project workflows works by linking decomposed subtasks to ensure proper sequence. The orchestrator creates these links automatically when decomposing a structured plan into research, development, and testing tasks.

Does the Kanban orchestrator execute tasks directly during project management?▼

The Kanban orchestrator does not execute tasks directly during project management. It ensures safe, route-only management of complex task graphs by focusing solely on task decomposition, creation, assignment, and dependency tracking.

Can I assign decomposed tasks to specialists automatically based on a structured plan?▼

You can assign decomposed tasks to specialists automatically by issuing a command to the orchestrator. It decomposes a project plan into a structured task graph and assigns research, development, and testing tasks to respective specialists with dependencies.

Do I need any specific dependencies to use the kanban-orchestrator for task management?▼

You do not need any specific dependencies to use the kanban-orchestrator for task management. It operates independently to automate task decomposition, routing, and management within a Kanban system for project workflows.
