What problem does it solve?
It prevents the canonical GitHub Plan sub-issue body from drifting from the agent’s provider-specific local plan cache by synchronizing the filtered, authoritative content back to the sub-issue.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Provider-aware cache resolution: Finds the correct local cache file based on whether the agent runtime is Claude Code or Cursor.
- Not-flushed block removal: Strips all <!-- not-flushed --> … <!-- /not-flushed --> sections so only canonical content is written upstream.
- Remote drift preflight and safe updates: Detects remote changes and blocks by default (with an optional force overwrite path), then writes via MCP update_issue with a CLI fallback.
Quick Start
Ask the agent to run kata-flush-plan-to-subissue for sub-issue M and ensure force is false so it detects drift before overwriting.
