What problem does it solve?

kit-sync solves the problem of installing and upgrading an entire fpkit/acss component and theme kit without overwriting developer customizations or causing drift.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Bulk install foundation + all components + generated themes: Copies ui.tsx, foundation styles, every tracked component TSX/SCSS pair, and theme CSS plus a seed record file.
  • Safe re-sync with drift detection: Maintains <project>/.acss-kit/manifest.json with normalized content sha256 to classify each tracked file as clean, modified, or missing so modified files are preserved.
  • Purpose-built workflows for install vs upgrade: Supports /kit-sync bulk install and safe re-copy behavior on subsequent runs, including --dry-run planning and --skip-styles components-only installs.

Quick Start

Tell the assistant: run /kit-sync in your React + TypeScript + Sass project to bulk-install all acss-kit components, foundation, and generated light/dark theme files, preserving anything you have modified.
