FAQPage Schema

How do I manage cron schedules and webhooks in a single configuration?▼

You can manage cron schedules and webhooks together by defining them in a unified triggers.yaml configuration file, which coordinates cross-system event-driven workflows and actions across services.

What is the best way to orchestrate event-driven workflows across multiple services?▼

Orchestrating event-driven workflows across services requires coordinating cron schedules, webhooks, and actions through a unified configuration and a runtime state database to ensure reliable multi-step execution.

Can I pause and resume automated triggers during deployments or incidents?▼

Yes, automated triggers support full CRUD operations via a REST API and CLI, allowing you to pause and resume cron schedules or webhooks while monitoring execution history.

How do I automate incident responses and data pipelines with external triggers?▼

Automating incident responses and data pipelines involves configuring external webhook triggers and cron schedules to execute prompt, command, or HTTP actions automatically across targeted services.

Does trigger management require a specific database to track runtime state?▼

Trigger management uses kortix.db to store runtime state and execution history, while persistent configuration is maintained version-controlled in the triggers.yaml file.

Why use a unified trigger configuration instead of separate cron and webhook managers?▼

A unified trigger configuration coordinates scheduling and external triggers in one place, eliminating the need to manage separate cron and webhook managers while providing a single REST API and CLI for reliable operations.
