High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I validate my startup idea with evidence before building anything?▼

You can validate a startup idea by mapping it onto a lean canvas with evidence-based checks across nine cells and ten phases. Each claim must be grounded in customer data, interviews, and artifacts before progression.

What is a lean canvas and when do I need one for my business model?▼

A lean canvas is a one-page business model template that breaks down problem-solution fit into nine structured cells. You need one when turning an unvalidated startup idea into a data-driven, testable business model.

How do I create a data-driven lean canvas step by step?▼

Start at Phase 0 by gathering artifacts, then follow the guided nine-cell progression. The process enforces explicit, evidence-based validation at each step and outputs a locked LEAN-CANVAS.md file upon completion.

Can I use this lean canvas process if I only have a rough startup idea?▼

Yes, the process is designed specifically for unvalidated startup ideas. You begin by collecting existing artifacts and data, then the phase-based progression forces you to tie each canvas cell to concrete customer evidence.

What happens after I finish the lean canvas validation process?▼

The process outputs a locked LEAN-CANVAS.md file and prepares a hand-off artifact specifically for an MVP scoper, bridging the gap between business model validation and product scoping.

Why does my lean canvas need evidence-based checks for each cell?▼

Evidence-based checks ensure every claim in the nine cells is tied to actual customer data, interviews, and artifacts. This prevents unvalidated assumptions from passing through your business model and grounds the final canvas in reality.
