SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps learners uncover the hidden assumptions and fixed constraints behind a project so AI and teammates do not operate on unspoken premises.

Core Features & Use Cases

Context Discovery: Collects basic project details such as stack, users, and team size before analysis.
Assumption vs. Constraint Classification: Guides the learner to distinguish changeable assumptions from external constraints.
Documentation for ProjSight: Supports writing clear, reviewable entries with evidence, impact scope, and follow-up timing.
Use Case: A learner working on a small internal tool can identify that the system is Japanese-only, the team is three people, and hosting costs must stay within a fixed budget.

Quick Start

Ask whether the prior lesson is complete, then help the user list at least three assumptions and two constraints for their project and prepare them for registration.

FAQPage Schema

How do I identify hidden project assumptions and constraints during project scoping?▼

Identifying hidden project assumptions and constraints requires collecting basic context like stack and team size, then classifying each item as a changeable assumption or a fixed external limit with concrete evidence and impact analysis.

What is the difference between a project assumption and a constraint in intent engineering?▼

A project assumption is a changeable premise that requires evidence, impact scope, and a review date, whereas a constraint is a fixed external limit that demands a separate, clearly documented description for disciplined scoping.

How do I document project assumptions for review and registration?▼

To document project assumptions for review, structure each entry with concrete evidence, impact analysis, and a follow-up review date, then prepare the finalized metadata for ProjSight registration.

Can I use this intent engineering approach for a small internal tool with a fixed budget?▼

Yes, this approach suits small internal tools by helping you identify specific constraints like a fixed hosting budget or a three-person team size, and structure them as reviewable metadata entries.

What do I need to prepare before listing project assumptions and constraints?▼

Before listing assumptions and constraints, you need to complete the prior intent-engineering learning lesson and gather basic project context details such as the technology stack, target users, and team size.

When should I not use structured assumption classification for project context discovery?▼

You should avoid structured assumption classification when your project context discovery cannot provide concrete evidence or defined impact scope, as the process requires these elements to prepare valid ProjSight registration entries.
