SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Leave trackers often become a noisy status board, so important statutory notification and decision deadlines get missed; this Skill filters to only the leaves that require action and explains why.

Core Features & Use Cases

Deadline alerts for statutory leaves: Highlights only open leaves with hard legal deadlines tied to notifications, return-date changes, or reasonable-adjustments timing.
Action-focused outputs, not status reporting: Produces concise summaries of what the legal/HR team must decide or do next and the rationale behind each alert.
Works from HRIS or a leave register: Operates using an existing HRIS connection or a dedicated leave-register.yaml file, with a fallback request to upload a spreadsheet or log entries.

Quick Start

Run /employment-legal-uk:leave-tracker to get a list of open statutory leaves with upcoming response, return-date change, or reasonable-adjustments deadlines that require a decision or action.

FAQPage Schema

How do I track statutory leave deadlines that need HR action?▼

Statutory leave tracking identifies open employee leaves with upcoming notification, return-date change, or reasonable-adjustments deadlines requiring HR or legal action. It filters out noise to highlight only actionable items with a brief rationale for each alert.

What is the best way to monitor reasonable adjustments deadlines in an HRIS?▼

Monitoring reasonable adjustments deadlines via HRIS filters open statutory leaves to identify cases with upcoming timing requirements. It surfaces only actionable items needing legal or HR decisions and provides a brief rationale for each alert.

How do I identify return date changes for statutory leave compliance?▼

Identifying return date changes for statutory leave compliance involves reviewing open leaves for upcoming modification deadlines. The tracker surfaces only those requiring legal or HR action, providing a brief rationale for each alert to support employment case management.

Can I use a leave register file instead of an HRIS for employment law tracking?▼

Yes, you can use a leave-register.yaml file instead of an HRIS for employment law tracking. If neither is present, the system prompts you to upload a spreadsheet or log entries to identify actionable statutory deadlines.

Do I need a leave-register.yaml file to surface statutory notification deadlines?▼

No, you do not need a leave-register.yaml file if an HRIS connection is available. The tracker works from either source, and prompts for data upload or logging when both are missing to ensure statutory notification deadlines are surfaced.
