FAQPage Schema

How do I automate an end-to-end engineering workflow from planning to code review?▼

Autonomous engineering workflows are managed by coordinating sub-skills to execute planning, implementation, code review, and testing. It enforces a strict step-by-step process to ensure no critical development steps are skipped.

What is residual management in software development automation?▼

Residual management handles leftover work requiring human intervention by creating tickets or updating PRs. This enables a smooth handoff from the autonomous workflow back to developers for complex engineering tasks.

How do I execute step-by-step tasks in an autonomous software development process?▼

An autonomous software development process enforces a strict step-by-step execution model. It coordinates various sub-skills to perform tasks like planning, implementation, and code review sequentially without requiring manual oversight.

Do I need specific dependencies to run an autonomous engineering workflow?▼

Yes, running an autonomous engineering workflow requires coordinating with specific dependencies like ce-plan, ce-work, ce-code-review, and ce-test-browser to manage planning, execution, code review, and testing tasks.

Can I use this engineering automation for complex projects with multiple dependencies?▼

Yes, engineering automation is suitable for complex software development environments where multiple tasks and dependencies need to be managed efficiently. It ensures consistent and reliable outcomes without manual oversight.
