SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires statsmodels, and includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Planning research is often ad-hoc and lacks reproducibility, delaying progress and making audits hard. This Skill provides a structured blueprint to transform a validated idea into a detailed, auditable research plan.

Core Features & Use Cases

End-to-end research planning: goals, technical roadmap, data workflow, experiments, risk management, and milestones.
Reproducibility scaffolding: logging, versioning, checklists, and templates to support publication or grant submissions.
Use Case: A validated idea from m04 is transformed into a complete plan ready for execution and evaluation.

Quick Start

Provide a fully detailed, executable research plan from a validated idea, covering goals, methods, data workflow, milestones, and risk mitigation.

Frequently Asked Questions about light-research-plan

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I create a reproducible research plan for experimental design?▼

To create a reproducible research plan, you structure blueprints covering goals, methods, data workflow, and milestones. This enforces structured workflows with logging, versioning, and audit trails to ensure traceable execution.

What is the best way to structure project management for a rigorous research study?▼

The best way to structure project management for research is using end-to-end planning that spans experiment design, risk management, and documentation. This provides clear milestones and audit trails for publication or grant submissions.

How do I plan power analysis and experimental design using Python?▼

You can plan power analysis and experimental design in Python by leveraging statistical libraries like statsmodels within a structured research framework. This dependency supports the rigorous data workflow and reproducibility scaffolding required.

Can I use this structured research plan workflow for grant submissions?▼

Yes, you can use this structured research plan workflow for grant submissions. It includes reproducibility scaffolding with logging, versioning, checklists, and templates specifically designed to support publication or grant submissions.

Do I need a validated idea before starting end-to-end research planning?▼

Yes, you need a validated idea before starting end-to-end research planning. The system transforms a validated idea into a detailed, auditable research plan covering technical roadmaps, data handling, and risk mitigation.

What are the limitations of using plan-lint for research project management?▼

A limitation of using plan-lint for research project management is its strict enforcement of structured workflows, which requires adherence to defined milestones and audit trails. This may constrain ad-hoc or highly exploratory research processes.
