Thematic synthesis: Focus on identifying themes, gaps, and frameworks rather than one-paper summaries.
Outputs & notes: Generates .research/literature/ markdown notes and BibTeX citations to support manuscript development.

Quick Start

Initiate a topic-driven literature review to generate literature notes and a BibTeX file, then store results in .research/literature/Topic.md and .research/literature/Topic.bib.

Can I generate BibTeX files and markdown notes for my literature review?▼

Yes, generating BibTeX files and markdown notes is supported. The workflow outputs `.research/literature/Topic.md` and `.research/literature/Topic.bib` files to store results and support manuscript development with reproducible documentation.

What citation styles are supported for formatting a bibliography?▼

Supported citation styles for formatting a bibliography include APA, Nature, and Vancouver. The documentation phase generates markdown reports formatted with these citation styles to ensure verified references meet publication standards.

How does thematic synthesis identify research gaps in a literature review?▼

Thematic synthesis identifies research gaps by focusing on recognizing themes, gaps, and frameworks rather than providing one-paper summaries. This approach systematically extracts and synthesizes findings to build a cohesive background for your manuscript.

Does the literature review workflow support PRISMA guidelines and citation verification?▼

Yes, the literature review workflow supports PRISMA guidelines and citation verification. The systematic SEARCH and SCREEN phases align with PRISMA requirements, while the VERIFY step ensures citation accuracy for transparent and reproducible reporting.

What is the best way to document a reproducible literature review?▼

The best way to document a reproducible literature review is applying a structured workflow ending in DOCUMENT, which generates `.research/literature/` markdown reports and BibTeX files. This ensures your systematic search and thematic synthesis remain fully traceable.
