SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This skill solves the uncertainty of music production by providing a rigorous, data-driven evaluation loop to determine if a creative or technical change in Ableton Live actually improved the session.

Core Features & Use Cases

Universal Evaluation Loop: Standardizes the process of goal setting, world modeling, and before/after measurement for any production move.
Multi-Modal Judgment: Supports technical spectral analysis, artistic identity verification, and parameter-based heuristics depending on available system capabilities.
Memory Promotion: Identifies successful techniques and saves them to a persistent ledger, allowing the agent to learn from past wins and avoid repeating rejected ideas.

Quick Start

Use the livepilot-evaluation skill to compare the current mix against the previous version and decide whether to keep the changes.

Frequently Asked Questions about livepilot-evaluation

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I evaluate if a mixing move in Ableton Live actually improved my track?▼

To evaluate mixing moves in Ableton Live, use a standardized evaluation loop that measures before/after states through spectral analysis, structural metrics, and artistic identity verification to determine if the change improved the session.

What is spectral analysis for music production decisions?▼

Spectral analysis for music production is a multi-modal judgment mechanism that assesses technical audio data alongside parameter-based heuristics and artistic identity to verify if a production move achieves its intended goal.

How do I keep track of successful sound design techniques in Ableton?▼

Track successful sound design techniques in Ableton by using a memory promotion system that identifies winning production moves and saves them to a persistent action ledger, allowing you to learn from past wins and avoid rejected ideas.

Does this evaluation framework work for composition tasks or only mixing?▼

This evaluation framework works for composition tasks, sound design, and mixing. It operates across varying capability modes to ensure consistent, data-driven decision-making for any production move in Ableton Live.

Can I enforce anti-preferences to avoid repeating rejected mixing ideas?▼

You can enforce anti-preferences by integrating the evaluation framework with an action ledger and memory system, which identifies successful techniques while actively preventing the repetition of previously rejected production ideas.

What is the best way to standardize production move judgment across different sessions?▼

The best way to standardize production move judgment is applying a universal evaluation loop that defines goal setting, world modeling, and before/after measurement, ensuring consistent decision-making across varying system capabilities.
