What problem does it solve?
Helps you understand how a research paper’s ideas evolved by recursively tracing which earlier papers it critiques or improves, then extending to the newest related developments.
Core Features & Use Cases
- 倒读溯源（最多5层）: Starting from a user-provided paper, find the key predecessor(s) it criticizes/improves and repeat up to five layers to reach the source.
- 正向演化叙事: Reconstruct the intellectual lineage in a problem-centered, Feynman-style explanation that emphasizes differences between consecutive works rather than standalone summaries.
- 前沿延伸与可视化: Identify 1–3 most relevant follow-up works after the target paper and generate Obsidian-friendly notes with ASCII “溯源地图” and “问题-解法总览” plus final insights.
Quick Start
Use the ljg-paper-river skill when you paste an arXiv/PDF link or paper title and tell the AI you want to “trace the paper river / 倒读 / 论文溯源 / 论文脉络”.
