SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Convert agreed scope into a structured, executable plan that the team can actually follow and use to coordinate work.

Core Features & Use Cases

Five operating modes: Full plan, Matter plan only, Workstream plan, Rolling wave, and Plan update from correspondence.
Outputs include a formal matter plan, workstream-level plans, milestone and dependency registers, and a structured export for downstream systems; enables versioning and cross-skill handoffs.
Integrates with matter-intake-scoping and scope-change-controller to align planning with scope baselines and facilitate updates when scope changes occur.
Provides the standard plan fields, task and milestone definitions, and plan maintenance cadence to keep execution aligned with the scope.

Quick Start

Automate converting an agreed scope into a formal matter plan in Mode 1 and generate the accompanying structured export.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I convert legal matter scope into an executable project plan?▼

To turn matter scope into an executable matter plan, the Skill automates structuring agreed inputs into mandated milestones, dependencies, and workstreams. It generates a formal plan and a structured export for downstream systems.

What is the best way to manage dependencies across multiple legal workstreams?▼

Managing cross-functional workstreams requires a structured matter plan with milestone and dependency registers. The Skill coordinates these multiple workstreams by mapping dependencies and outputs into a structured export for team alignment.

How do I update a legal project plan when scope changes occur?▼

To update a matter plan from scope changes, the Skill applies a dedicated plan update mode triggered by correspondence. It maintains versioning across plan evolution to keep execution aligned with the new scope baseline.

Can I generate rolling-wave updates for ongoing legal project management?▼

Yes, rolling-wave updates for legal project management are supported through a dedicated operating mode. This allows you to progressively detail near-term workstreams while maintaining the overall matter plan timeline as the engagement evolves.

Does legal project planning work without a predefined matter scope baseline?▼

Legal project planning depends on an agreed scope baseline to generate a structured matter plan. The Skill integrates with matter-intake-scoping to ensure the formal plan, milestones, and dependencies align with predefined scope requirements.
