FAQPage Schema

How do I keep client and engagement context from leaking across legal matters?▼

You isolate client and engagement context by creating separate legal matter workspaces for each engagement. This prevents cross-matter context leakage by tracking active matters and requiring explicit confirmation before writing any data.

How do I set up matter intake for a new legal engagement?▼

Matter intake involves creating a new workspace with a validated slug, structured intake details, matter metadata, and notes. This requires practice-level configuration and confirmation before the workspace is written.

Can I archive completed legal matters without deleting the history?▼

Yes, you close matters by archiving them without deletion. Archival storage preserves the full matter history for retention and conflicts purposes while removing the matter from active workspace selection.

Does this matter management approach work for multi-client employment law workflows?▼

Yes, this matter management approach supports private-practice and multi-client employment-law workflows. It allows switching between active client engagements and detaching to practice-level context when needed.

What is the best way to switch between active client engagements in a legal workspace?▼

The best way to switch active client engagements is by selecting a different active matter from the matter list. You can also detach to practice-level context to work outside any specific matter.
