Automate extraction and consolidation of memories from session logs and notes, reducing manual curation and helping maintain a clean memory surface.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Automatic memory extraction: scans agent session logs for decision, correction, and milestone signals, classifies memories into user, feedback, project, research, reference, or people, and outputs candidate memories for review.
- Memory consolidation and archiving: deduplicates content across topics and daily notes, flags outdated items, archives stale memories to memory-full.md, and tracks budgets for topic files.
- Daily-note fallback and scheduling: supports fallback to daily notes when session logs are unavailable and suggests cron-like scheduling for regular extractions and consolidations.
Quick Start
Run python3 scripts/extract_memories.py to extract memories from today's session logs, then run python3 scripts/consolidate_memories.py to generate a consolidation report and apply archival rules.
