What problem does it solve?
Legacy Skaile manifests are hard to translate to the canonical-identity model used by the current system. This skill migrates them safely to ensure consistent identity, source mapping, and dependency references.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Converts repositories maps to sources entries with optional pins.
- Transforms ai_resources arrays or objects into sources and top-level dependencies with publisher inference.
- Rewrites dependency refs to the canonical kind:name@publisher[#pin] form, applying publisher mapping and rebranding @skaile namespace to @skaile-ai as needed.
- Provides a safe, dry-run preview when desired and preserves unknown keys to maintain compatibility.
Quick Start
Provide the skaile.yaml path and a publisher-map, then run the migration to produce the canonical-identity manifest.
