SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps developers quickly understand the structure and components of a Muxt-generated Go codebase, especially when new to a project.

Core Features & Use Cases

Discover Muxt Packages: Identifies all packages utilizing Muxt and their configurations.
Trace Routes and Templates: Maps relationships between routes, templates, and receiver types.
Analyze Navigation: Differentiates between safe (type-checked) and fragile (hardcoded) navigation links.
Understand Receiver Types: Provides methods to inspect the core Go types driving the application logic.
Interactive Exploration: Facilitates setting up a fake server for testing and debugging frontend interactions.

Quick Start

Run muxt explore-module --format=json to get a structured overview of all Muxt packages in the repository.

FAQPage Schema

How do I map Muxt routes and templates in a Go codebase?▼

Generate a structured overview of all Muxt routes and templates in a Go codebase by running `muxt explore-module --format=json`, which outputs package configurations and template-to-method relationships.

What is a Muxt codebase structure?▼

A Muxt codebase structure consists of Go packages utilizing Muxt for routing, where receiver types drive application logic and templates map directly to methods to define the navigation flow.

How do I trace receiver types in a Muxt Go project?▼

Trace receiver types in a Muxt Go project by exploring the codebase overview, which provides methods to inspect the core Go types driving the application logic and their template relationships.

Can I test frontend interactions with a Muxt fake server?▼

Yes, you can test frontend interactions by generating a fake server through the Muxt exploration tools, facilitating interactive debugging of frontend stack components without a full backend setup.

How do I differentiate safe and fragile navigation links in Muxt?▼

Analyze navigation links in Muxt by differentiating between safe, type-checked links and fragile, hardcoded links during the codebase exploration to identify routing stability.

Does the Muxt codebase exploration tool require external dependencies?▼
