FAQPage Schema

How do I migrate data from Firestore to Neon PostgreSQL for analytics?▼

To migrate Firestore data to Neon PostgreSQL, this Skill syncs clients, deals, and invoices collections using parameterized SQL queries, requiring the NEON_DATABASE_URL environment variable to establish a connection for scalable relational analytics.

Does this Skill support vector search and embeddings with pgvector?▼

Yes, this Skill supports vector search and embeddings by utilizing the pgvector extension in Neon PostgreSQL, enabling semantic similarity queries directly on your migrated Firestore data.

What do I need to set up before syncing Firestore data to Neon?▼

Before syncing, you need a Neon PostgreSQL connection string set as NEON_DATABASE_URL, the pgvector extension enabled, and a Firestore source containing clients, deals, and invoices collections.

Can I export Firestore data to CSV or Excel through Neon PostgreSQL?▼

Yes, you can export Firestore data to CSV or Excel for reporting by first syncing it to Neon PostgreSQL, where cross-entity relational queries and audit logging prepare the data for export.

Is Neon PostgreSQL suitable for serverless Cloud Functions integration?▼

Yes, Neon PostgreSQL is suitable for serverless Cloud Functions integration because this Skill uses connection pooling and serverless-friendly configuration to manage scalable analytics queries efficiently.

What is the best way to run cross-entity analytics on Firestore data?▼

The best way to run cross-entity analytics on Firestore data is migrating it to Neon PostgreSQL, which enables complex relational queries across clients, deals, and invoices that Firestore struggles to perform natively.
