SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

## What problem does it solve? Real-time cognitive and physiological state data is often underutilized in AI assistants. This Skill connects to a running NeuroSkill instance to read live brain and body metrics and incorporate them into responses, enabling cognitively-aware interactions.

## Core Features & Use Cases

Live state-aware responses: tailor answers based on focus, relaxation, mood, cognitive load, HRV, and sleep staging.
Intervention guidance: suggest context-appropriate protocols or pacing based on current metrics.
Performance tracking: log metrics over time to monitor cognitive states and improvement.

### Quick Start
Launch the NeuroSkill desktop app, connect a compatible BCI, and run the status command to begin streaming live metrics.

Frequently Asked Questions about neuroskill-bci

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I incorporate real-time brain-state data into AI responses?▼

To incorporate real-time brain-state data into AI responses, connect a supported BCI device like Muse 2/S or OpenBCI to the locally running NeuroSkill desktop app, which streams live cognitive metrics via a WebSocket/HTTP API to guide state-aware outputs.

What cognitive metrics can I use for real-time neurofeedback in AI applications?▼

Real-time neurofeedback in AI applications can utilize focus, relaxation, mood, cognitive load, HRV, and sleep staging metrics streamed from a local NeuroSkill instance to dynamically adapt responses and interventions.

Do I need a specific BCI headset to stream cognitive-state metrics through a WebSocket API?▼

Yes, streaming cognitive-state metrics through the WebSocket API requires a supported BCI headset, specifically Muse 2, Muse S, or OpenBCI devices connected to the NeuroSkill desktop app.

Can I use local BCI data to guide AI interventions and performance tracking?▼

Yes, you can use local BCI data to guide AI interventions and performance tracking by feeding live metrics from the NeuroSkill desktop app into AI responses, ensuring all cognitive and physiological data remains kept local.

What's the best way to start streaming live cognitive-state metrics for state-aware responses?▼

The best way to start streaming live cognitive-state metrics is to launch the NeuroSkill desktop app, connect your compatible BCI device, and run the status command to begin feeding real-time focus and relaxation data.

Are there limitations when using a local WebSocket API for real-time brain-state metrics?▼

A limitation of using a local WebSocket API for real-time brain-state metrics is that the NeuroSkill desktop app must be actively running locally, and you must maintain a supported BCI hardware connection to continuously feed cognitive data.
