SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This skill solves the problem of fragmented project discovery and lost context by forcing a structured, persistent interview process that captures every decision into a durable markdown file.

Core Features & Use Cases

Persistent Capture: Automatically checkpoints every user answer to a dedicated brainstorm file, ensuring no information is lost during long sessions.
Structured Discovery: Uses specific lenses like constraints, tradeoffs, and failure modes to probe plans and designs for hidden gaps.
Use Case: When you have a fuzzy project idea and need to stress-test the design, use this skill to have the AI grill you on every dependency until a complete, documented plan is formed.

Quick Start

Invoke the no-doubts skill to begin a discovery session for your current project plan.

FAQPage Schema

How do I stress-test a fuzzy project idea through structured discovery?▼

Structured discovery stress-tests fuzzy project ideas by running a persistent, checkpoint-driven interview process that probes constraints, tradeoffs, and failure modes. It automatically captures every decision into a centralized markdown log.

Can I use an AI interview process to document project planning and brainstorming sessions?▼

Yes, an AI interview process facilitates project planning and brainstorming by persistently grilling you on dependencies and open flags. It automatically checkpoints every answer to a dedicated markdown file, ensuring no context is lost.

What is the best way to capture decisions and prevent lost context during technical brainstorming?▼

The best way to capture decisions during technical brainstorming is using a checkpoint-driven interview process that writes to a centralized, timestamped markdown file. This prevents fragmented discovery and ensures all requirements are durably logged.

Does this discovery process require file system access to maintain a project log?▼

Yes, this discovery process requires consistent file system access to maintain a centralized, timestamped markdown log. This persistent capture mechanism ensures every decision and open flag from the interview is durably documented.

When do I need a checkpoint-driven interview for requirement gathering?▼

You need a checkpoint-driven interview for requirement gathering when you have a fuzzy project plan requiring design stress-testing. It forces a structured discovery process that probes hidden gaps and logs all dependencies into a durable file.

What are the limitations of using a persistent interview process for project documentation?▼

A limitation of this persistent interview process is its reliance on continuous file system access to maintain the timestamped markdown log. Without this access, the structured discovery and requirement gathering process cannot checkpoint decisions or track open flags.
