SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps product and engineering teams translate complex specs into concrete Notion tasks, plans, and tracking artifacts, reducing ambiguity and speeding up project setup.

Core Features & Use Cases

Automated conversion of specs into implementation tasks: Parses sections like requirements, acceptance criteria, and dependencies from a spec page and creates structured tasks in a Notion task database.
Plan generation and bidirectional linking: Generates an Implementation Plan page linked to the original spec and links tasks back to both plan and spec.
Progress tracking & governance: Supports progress notes, phase milestones, and status updates to keep stakeholders aligned.

Quick Start

Use this skill to convert a Notion spec page into a fully wired implementation plan and tasks, ready for execution.

FAQPage Schema

How do I convert a product specification into actionable Notion tasks?▼

To convert a specification into Notion tasks, this skill parses requirements, acceptance criteria, and dependencies from a Notion spec page and generates a structured task set linked to an implementation plan for execution.

Can I automatically link a Notion implementation plan back to the original spec page?▼

Yes, bidirectional linking is supported. The skill generates an implementation plan page linked to the original spec and automatically links the extracted tasks back to both the plan and the spec for continuous traceability.

How do I extract acceptance criteria and dependencies from a technical spec in Notion?▼

You can extract acceptance criteria and dependencies by targeting the Notion spec page. The skill parses these specific documentation sections and translates them into structured formats suitable for project tracking.

What is the best way to set up project tracking from a complex requirements document in Notion?▼

The best way to set up tracking is converting the requirements document into an implementation plan and task set. This enforces structured formats, phase milestones, and progress notes to keep stakeholders aligned during delivery.

Does this spec-to-implementation conversion support phase milestones and progress tracking?▼

Yes, progress tracking and governance are supported. The generated implementation plan includes phase milestones, status updates, and progress notes to keep engineering teams and stakeholders aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle.

How do I create a structured implementation plan from a Notion spec without manual entry?▼

You can create a structured plan automatically by running this skill on a Notion spec page. It parses the requirements and dependencies to generate a fully wired implementation plan and task database without manual data entry.
