What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps you catch OpenHarmony gate CI defects (especially copyright and C/C++ CodeArts checks) before committing, reducing the chance of PRs being rejected by the gate.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Gate-aligned local checks: verifies copyright header presence/year and runs CodeArts C/C++ checks (codecheck-ide-engine + Huawei clang-tidy).
  • Extra local-only linting: runs Python (pylint/flake8), Shell (shellcheck/bashate-mod-ds), and GN format dry-run to improve code quality beyond gate coverage.
  • Auto-fix workflow: with --fix, applies mechanical fixes for supported defect types and stops when issues require human judgment.

Quick Start

Run the command: /oh-precommit-codecheck --fix to check your staged C/C++/Python/Shell/GN files and automatically fix auto-fixable problems.
