SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Vague business goals like "grow the business" or "improve retention" are impossible to execute against. This Skill transforms strategic priorities into tight, measurable OKRs with clear targets, baselines, and explicit scope boundaries. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Structured OKR Generation: Produces a qualitative Objective, 3-5 numeric Key Results with baselines and targets, linked initiatives, alignment notes, and mandatory anti-goals. - Quality Guardrails: Enforces rules like measurable KRs with data sources, 70% confidence targets, and a strict separation between initiatives (work) and Key Results (outcomes). - Use Case: A product lead receives the directive "improve user engagement for Q3." The Skill asks clarifying questions if needed, then outputs a complete OKR table with retention and activation KRs, the initiatives that move them, and what is explicitly out of scope. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to write an OKR for your strategic priority, for example: "Write a Q3 OKR for improving self-serve onboarding conversion."

FAQPage Schema
How do I write OKRs from a vague business goal?

Provide the strategic priority and time horizon, and the Skill parses it into a qualitative Objective plus 3-5 measurable Key Results. If the input is too vague, it asks for specifics like segment, metric, and time frame before writing.

What makes a good Key Result in an OKR?

A good Key Result has a specific number, a baseline, a target, and a defined data source. Targets should have roughly a 70% chance of being hit; 100% confidence means the target is set too low.

What is the difference between OKR initiatives and Key Results?

Initiatives are the activities and work items you execute, while Key Results are the measurable outcomes that happen as a consequence. The Skill keeps them in separate tables and links each initiative to the KRs it moves.

Why should OKRs include anti-goals?

Anti-goals explicitly name what is out of scope for the quarter, preventing scope creep and misaligned effort. Every OKR implicitly deprioritizes something, and stating it keeps teams focused.

Can I write OKRs for multiple objectives at once?

The Skill writes OKRs for one Objective at a time by default, since focus beats breadth. It will only handle multiple Objectives when explicitly asked.
