SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill translates high-level SaaS architecture goals into a ready-to-run Omnistrate-compatible Docker Compose specification, bridging design and deployment.

Core Features & Use Cases

Iterative architecture design: assists in selecting tech stacks, tenancy models, compliance needs, and SLA considerations to produce a viable compose spec.
Scoped output: generates a vanilla Compose file ready for FDE handoff, with parameterization and readiness for image-based deployments.
Guided handoff preparation: documents registries, image references, and deployment controls to support a smooth transition to downstream skills.

Quick Start

Provide a customer-ready SaaS design and have the assistant produce a starting Omnistrate Compose spec that references pre-built container images and a parameterized environment.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I translate SaaS architecture goals into a Docker Compose specification?▼

To translate SaaS architecture goals into Docker Compose specifications, provide your SaaS design to the assistant. It applies iterative discovery phases for technology selection, tenancy, compliance, and SLA considerations to generate a scalable, multi-tenant-ready Compose file.

How do I convert SaaS architecture designs into an Omnistrate deployment spec?▼

To convert SaaS architecture designs into Omnistrate deployment specs, provide a customer-ready design to the assistant. It applies discovery, technology selection, tenancy, compliance, and SLA phases to generate a vanilla Docker Compose specification parameterized for multi-tenant deployments.

Can I use build contexts in Docker Compose files for Omnistrate deployments?▼

No, you cannot use build contexts in Docker Compose files for Omnistrate deployments. The generated specification must ensure all services reference pre-built container images, document image registries, and parameterize environment variables without local builds.

Does my Docker Compose specification need to support multi-tenancy for Omnistrate?▼

Yes, your Docker Compose specification needs to support multi-tenancy for Omnistrate. The assistant evaluates tenancy models during the design process to produce a multi-tenant-ready Compose file that meets your specific SaaS architecture requirements.

How do I prepare handoff artifacts for FDE from a Docker Compose spec?▼

To prepare handoff artifacts for FDE from a Docker Compose spec, the assistant documents image registries, references, and deployment controls. This guided handoff preparation ensures a smooth transition to downstream skills for deployment.

What are the limitations of using vanilla Docker Compose for Omnistrate SaaS deployments?▼

A limitation of using vanilla Docker Compose for Omnistrate SaaS deployments is that build contexts are unsupported. Services must only reference pre-built container images, requiring all application code to be containerized and pushed to registries beforehand.
