FAQPage Schema

How do I set up and run my first AI agent evaluation?▼

AI evaluation workflow setup is automated by orchestrating end-to-end configuration within the Coval platform. It manages the creation of agents, personas, test sets, and metrics based on specific industry use cases, then executes the simulation runs automatically.

Do I need the Coval CLI to configure agent testing workflows?▼

The Coval CLI is required to interface with the evaluation engine and execute simulation runs. The guided setup provides a step-by-step walkthrough for CLI installation and authentication to ensure your environment is configured correctly for automated resource creation.

What is automated AI evaluation and how does it work for customer support agents?▼

Automated AI evaluation removes the complexity of testing by automatically generating personas, test sets, and metrics tailored to your use case. For a customer support agent, the system builds the entire test suite and launches the first simulation run automatically.

Can I automatically generate test sets and personas for my specific industry use case?▼

Yes, automated resource creation generates personas, test sets, and metrics based on your specific industry use case. This allows developers testing new agents to bypass manual evaluation structuring and launch a fully configured simulation run directly.

What's the best way to structure an evaluation for a new AI agent?▼

The best way to structure an AI evaluation is to use a guided setup that automates the creation of personas, test sets, and metrics. This ensures your workflow is correctly configured for your specific use case before executing the simulation run through the CLI.
