FAQPage Schema

How do I handle Stripe disputes and decide whether to fight or accept them?▼

To handle Stripe disputes, you gather evidence, apply numeric decision rules, and evaluate case strength to determine whether to fight or accept. This process uses predefined rubrics to assess fraud detection and order fulfillment data for a defensible chargeback decision.

What evidence do I need to collect to defend against an ecommerce chargeback?▼

Defending against an ecommerce chargeback requires collecting targeted evidence based on the specific dispute type. The framework identifies necessary proof from order fulfillment and fraud detection records to build a defensible case.

How does fraud detection influence chargeback management decisions?▼

Fraud detection influences chargeback management by providing data-driven decision rules and weak-data vetoes. Analyzing fraud signals alongside order fulfillment evidence helps determine the likelihood of winning a dispute, guiding the final fight or accept decision.

Can I use a structured rubric to evaluate the strength of a Stripe dispute case?▼

Yes, you can use predefined rubrics to evaluate the strength of a Stripe dispute case. These rubrics apply numeric decision rules to the collected evidence, helping you assess whether to fight the chargeback or accept the loss.

When should I accept a chargeback rather than submitting dispute evidence?▼
