What problem does it solve?
Translates a selected pricing strategy into a concrete, defensible packaging design so founders can publish a clear pricing page and downstream teams can model revenue and craft pitches. It converts abstract strategy into 2–4 named tiers with a single value metric, explicit feature allocations, anchor prices tied to evidence, and upgrade triggers that map to ICP segments. The skill prevents invented features by referencing product-overview and pushes incomplete asks back to Product Management.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Tier design: Produce 2–4 tiers mapped to ICP personas or buying contexts with a named value metric and upgrade triggers.
- Feature allocation & fencing: Allocate only features present in global/context/product-overview.md and provide one-sentence defensible fencing rationales for withheld features.
- Pricing anchors & evidence posture: Set anchor prices with WTP or competitive anchors and carry forward evidence_posture; flag hypothesis-only posture for downstream validation.
- Outputs & handoff: Create projects/09-pricing-and-packaging/outputs/packaging-tiers.md and pricing-model-final.md and prepare a 400–600 word distilled summary for global/context/pricing-model.md via context-writer after founder approval.
Quick Start
Design 3 tiers based on the Selected Direction in projects/09-pricing-and-packaging/outputs/pricing-strategy-options.md and allocate features strictly from global/context/product-overview.md.
