FAQPage Schema

What is structured technology evaluation research and when do I need it for architecture decisions?▼

Structured technology evaluation research systematically gathers and compares options for architecture decisions. You need it during the Prepare phase to reduce ambiguity, evaluate APIs or frameworks, and accelerate reproducible decision-making.

How do I document API exploration and framework comparison workflows?▼

Document API exploration and framework comparison workflows by populating standardized templates for executive summaries, methodology, findings, risk assessment, and recommendations. This ensures reproducible research artifacts for architecture decisions.

What's the best way to structure a technology research report for reproducibility?▼

Structure a technology research report using standardized templates covering background, methodology, findings, and risk assessment. This approach ensures reproducible evaluation outputs and actionable recommendations for architecture decisions.

Can I use these research templates for requirements gathering and library evaluation?▼

Yes, the research templates support requirements gathering and library evaluation alongside API exploration and framework selection. They provide structured outputs including executive summaries, findings, and risk assessments for architecture decisions.

Does this prepare-phase research workflow require any specific dependencies?▼

No specific dependencies are required. The workflow operates independently using standardized templates and references to guide technology evaluation, API exploration, and requirements gathering for architecture decisions.

What limitations exist when using standardized templates for technology research?▼

Standardized templates focus on prepare-phase research and documentation workflows. They may not cover specialized evaluation criteria outside API exploration, framework comparison, and requirements gathering for architecture decisions.
