No, it is guidance-only by design. It never edits code, PROJECT.md, STATUS.md, or notes, and it delegates discovery work through prebaked handoff files rather than researching deeply itself.

What happens to open items between daily briefs?▼

Nothing is silently dropped: every open item from the previous BRIEFING.md must reappear in the new one, moving from Top 3 to Open items if deprioritized. Items only leave when their Todoist task is done or the user explicitly drops them.
