SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Launch a reliable, observable showcase of many localpi demo sessions in a single, live grid to facilitate demonstrations and side-by-side comparisons without manual pane configuration.

Core Features & Use Cases

Deterministic tmux grid creation using a bundled script to arrange panes evenly.
Safety-first workflow with preview plans and explicit user confirmation before launching.
Use cases include live demos, capacity demonstrations, model-output comparisons, and documentation-friendly walls.

Quick Start

Plan the grid in preview mode, then start the tmux demo grid with --start after confirming capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions about pi-demo-grid

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I launch a tmux grid of concurrent demo sessions for side-by-side comparisons?▼

Launch a deterministic tmux grid of concurrent localpi demo sessions by planning in preview mode, then starting the grid with --start after confirming capacity and validating available memory.

Can I preview a tmux layout plan before starting concurrent demo panes?▼

Yes, you can preview a deterministic tmux grid plan before launching concurrent demo panes to ensure safety and verify capacity, requiring explicit confirmation before starting the side-by-side sessions.

Do I need to specify a model to run concurrent localpi demo panes in a tmux grid?▼

Yes, running concurrent localpi demo panes requires an explicit model spec via the --model flag or the LOCALPI_MODEL environment variable to prevent unintended high-concurrency launches.

How does memory validation work when launching a tmux grid of demo sessions?▼

Memory validation checks available system memory before launching the deterministic tmux grid of concurrent demo sessions, preventing unintended high-concurrency launches unless explicitly permitted by the user.

What is the best way to arrange multiple localpi demo panes evenly in tmux?▼

The best way to arrange multiple localpi demo panes evenly is using a bundled script that creates a deterministic tmux grid layout for live demonstrations and side-by-side model-output comparisons.

Why does the tmux demo grid require explicit confirmation before starting?▼

The tmux demo grid requires explicit confirmation before starting to enforce a safety-first workflow, ensuring users review preview plans and validate available memory before launching high-concurrency localpi sessions.
