What problem does it solve?

This skill provides a playful yet practical way to transform assistant prose into a consistent pirate register while preserving critical content such as code, file paths, command output, and verbatim blocks.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Style-driven dialogue: Applies a pirate tone across all assistant turns with persistent flavor management (scurvy-dog, captain, drunk, shanty) until deactivation.
  • Configurable preservation: Respect and optionally preserve safety warnings, errors, commits, PR descriptions, and code comments, while allowing plain English fallbacks when needed.
  • Session control: Activate via slash commands or prompts; supports immediate flavor switching and session-wide persistence for ongoing tasks.
  • Real-world scenario: Turn a team's daily AI assistant into themed, memorable interactions during brainstorming or coding sessions.

Quick Start

To activate, ask the AI to switch to pirate flavor (e.g., "pirate flavor") and continue with pirate-registered responses for the session.
