What problem does it solve?

Bug investigations often stall when the transition from concluded analysis to actionable fixes is fragmented. plan-bug guarantees PHASES.md exists (authoring from the concluded SPEC.md if missing) and executes /write-plan in a single subagent round-trip, enabling the bug to move from investigation to execution without intermediate steps.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Ensure PHASES.md exists for bugs after a concluded investigation, or generate it via /spec-phases in batch mode.
  • Generate a coherent implementation plan with /write-plan and surface NEEDS_INPUT.md if user input is required.
  • Works in docs/bugs pipelines and is consumed by lazy-bug-batch and bug-state.py to advance the workflow from investigation to execution.

Quick Start
