What problem does it solve?

plan-composer is a planning assist tool that converts high-level specifications into a structured set of per-step briefs for ward-subagents, enabling repeatable, auditable planning workflows.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Read the spec produced by spec-builder and populate a complete Steps section with one briefing per step, in ID order.
  • Produce a deterministic artifact: the updated spec plus a suite of step briefs that guide downstream agents.
  • Enforce reusable vs domain input/output bucketing and include guardrails for non-decomposable specs.

Quick Start

Feed the spec produced by spec-builder and run plan-composer to generate step briefs and update the spec with a populated Steps section.
