What problem does it solve?

It eliminates the guesswork and delays of restarting the Protheus AppServer after a compile, ensuring the server is back and reachable before you start testing.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Hot restart with verification: Runs the configured restart_cmd for a specific server and waits until the AppServer healthcheck responds successfully.
  • Healthcheck controls: Supports configurable timeout, optional port override, and the ability to skip the healthcheck when you only need the restart step.
  • Safety guard for PROD: Requires --confirm-prod when the target server is marked as production to prevent accidental restarts.

Quick Start

Run the hot restart for your local AppServer and wait for it to come back: call /plugadvpl:tq --use-server Local.
