What problem does it solve?
The Point-and-Click system solves the challenge of translating mouse-based targeting into reliable in-game navigation and combat decisions while preserving multiplayer authority and performance, by cleanly separating input interpretation from world execution.
Core Features & Use Cases
- UI Layer Guard ensures clicks on the HUD do not clear selection and that targeting data flows to the navigation system.
- Execution/Navigation Decoupling separates input handling from character movement so AI locomotion can drive actions in combat scenarios.
- Interact-to-Navigate auto-navigates to an interactable outside its interaction zone and triggers interaction on arrival.
- Multiplayer-ready design maintains server authority by routing movement through dedicated AI routines and minimal direct input coupling.

Click a target in the world to command your character to move via NavMesh and engage the chosen target using the Point-and-Click system.
