What problem does it solve?
It helps OmniRoute reliably resolve bugs reported in the upstream decolua/9router project by reproducing issues first and then implementing compatible fixes in OmniRoute only, without interacting with the upstream tracker.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Upstream issue harvesting & triage: Collects open upstream issues (by number or URL) and classifies each into actionable buckets (security, needs repro, out of scope, won’t fix, etc.).
- Architecture-aware mapping for correct fixes: Uses a documented mapping between upstream file/layer structure and OmniRoute equivalents (including OmniRoute-specific layers like a2a, memory, cloudAgent, guardrails, and evals).
- Repro-first, one-fix-per-PR workflow: Creates a dedicated worktree and branch per approved issue, writes a failing regression test first, implements the smallest safe change, then runs a mandatory validation suite before opening a PR.
Quick Start
Run port-upstream-issues-cc with the upstream issue numbers you want to address (for example: 1317 1320) and wait for the triage plan before selecting which issues should be fixed in this batch.
