FAQPage Schema

How do I generate a lean PRD that aligns product, design, and engineering?▼

To generate a lean PRD, provide a product idea, target users, and the core problem. The tool converts these inputs into structured sections including goals, MVP scope, functional requirements, and success metrics to align teams.

What is the best way to document MVP scope and success criteria for stakeholders?▼

Documenting MVP scope and success criteria involves structuring goals, users, problems, and core workflows into a testable product requirements document. This captures functional requirements, risks, and indicators to secure stakeholder alignment.

How do I write a product requirements document that prevents scope creep?▼

Writing a product requirements document that prevents scope creep requires defining clear MVP boundaries, success metrics, and non-functional requirements upfront. This structured approach keeps cross-functional teams aligned on strict deliverables.

What inputs do I need to create a testable product requirements document?▼

Creating a testable product requirements document requires clear inputs: a brief product idea, target users, and a high-level problem they face. These elements must be defined enough to document core workflows and scope.

Can I use this to outline non-functional requirements and risks alongside functional requirements?▼

Yes, you can outline non-functional requirements and risks. The generated PRD explicitly includes well-structured sections for functional requirements, non-functional requirements, risks, and success metrics alongside the MVP scope.

When should I not use a lean PRD for product management?▼

You should not use a lean PRD when goals, users, problems, and core workflows are not yet clear enough to document scope. It applies only when these foundational elements are defined enough to establish testable success criteria.
