SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

The principal-coordinator skill addresses the challenge of handling principal-level tasks that require both design and implementation, offering a streamlined process in a single dispatch.

Core Features & Use Cases

End-to-End Workflows: Handles design and implementation for tasks such as feature work, refactors, migrations, architecture changes, and audits.
Principal Judgment: Integrates the judgment of principal-caliber agents in one run.
Multi-Phase Execution: Runs an investigate → design → implement → self-review cycle in a single dispatch.
Documentation & Reporting: Generates comprehensive documentation and reports for all phases of the task.

Quick Start

To begin the principal coordination process, dispatch the 'principal-coordinator' with the task details.

FAQPage Schema

How do I manage end-to-end software development tasks that need both architecture design and implementation?▼

End-to-end software development tasks are managed by orchestrating an investigate, design, implement, and self-review cycle in a single dispatch. This coordinates principal-level judgment across multi-phase workflows for features, refactors, or migrations.

What is the best way to coordinate complex architecture changes across multiple repositories?▼

Coordinating complex architecture changes across various repositories requires multi-phase task management. A principal coordinator handles the entire end-to-end workflow, applying strong judgment to investigate, design, and implement changes in one run.

Can I run investigation and self-review phases in a single software development workflow dispatch?▼

Yes, you can run investigation and self-review phases in a single dispatch. Multi-phase execution handles the complete investigate, design, implement, and self-review cycle, generating comprehensive documentation and reports for all phases.

Does principal coordination work for large-scale refactors and migrations requiring design documentation?▼

Principal coordination works for large-scale refactors and migrations by handling end-to-end design and implementation. It integrates principal-caliber judgment to manage multi-phase execution and generates comprehensive documentation for the entire task.

When do I need multi-phase task management for software engineering workflows?▼

You need multi-phase task management for software engineering workflows involving complex tasks requiring both design and implementation. It is suitable for feature work, refactors, migrations, architecture changes, and audits that demand end-to-end coordination.

Why does handling principal-level architecture design require a coordinated end-to-end workflow?▼

Handling principal-level architecture design requires a coordinated end-to-end workflow because complex tasks demand strong judgment across investigation, implementation, and self-review. A single dispatch streamlines this multi-phase process, ensuring comprehensive reporting.
