SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Idea exploration and design validation are critical before building complex ProductionOS workflows. This Skill streamlines brainstorming, aligns stakeholders, and enforces guardrails so no implementation proceeds without explicit approval.

Core Features & Use Cases

Codex-native brainstorming wrapper for ProductionOS workflows that preserves source-target parity.
Translates Claude-style brainstorming into Codex-native steps with guardrails and reference handoffs.
Provides design artifacts and approval checkpoints to prevent premature coding and ensure traceability.

Quick Start

Provide a project prompt or repository context to initiate a design brainstorm and obtain an approved design outline.

Frequently Asked Questions about productionos-brainstorming

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I enforce design approval before implementation in ProductionOS workflows?▼

To enforce design approval before implementation in ProductionOS workflows, you need a brainstorming wrapper that applies gated execution. This approach uses structured design artifacts and explicit approval checkpoints to prevent premature coding and ensure traceability.

What is a Codex-native brainstorming wrapper?▼

A Codex-native brainstorming wrapper is a process framework that translates Claude-style idea exploration into Codex-native steps. It preserves source-target parity while applying guardrails and reference handoffs for ProductionOS workflows.

How do I start a design brainstorm for a project repository?▼

To start a design brainstorm, provide a project prompt or repository context to initiate the exploration. The system processes this input to generate an approved design outline with reference materials before any coding begins.

Can I translate Claude-style brainstorming into Codex-native steps with guardrails?▼

Yes, you can translate Claude-style brainstorming into Codex-native steps using a wrapper that enforces guardrails. This ensures structured design artifacts and reference handoffs maintain process parity throughout the workflow.

Why does my ProductionOS workflow proceed to coding without stakeholder alignment?▼

ProductionOS workflows proceed to coding without alignment when missing explicit approval checkpoints. Implementing a brainstorming wrapper with gated execution ensures no implementation starts without validated design artifacts and stakeholder sign-off.
