💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill designs the comprehensive technical blueprint for a project, ensuring all technical decisions align with project goals, constraints, and best practices.

Core Features & Use Cases

System Architecture Design: Creates a detailed technical roadmap for new projects (greenfield) or evolves existing ones (brownfield).
Technology Stack Selection: Recommends and justifies frameworks, languages, and databases based on project needs.
Use Case: For a new web application, this Skill will help you decide on the best backend framework, database, and deployment strategy, documenting these choices in a clear architecture.md file.

Quick Start

Use the project-architecture skill to design the technical blueprint for my new project.

Frequently Asked Questions about project-architecture

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I design system architecture for a new project?▼

Design system architecture by generating a technical blueprint that guides technology stack evaluation, pattern selection, and documentation generation. This process aligns technical decisions with project constraints and quality attributes to establish a comprehensive technical foundation.

What is the best way to evaluate a technology stack for my application?▼

Evaluating a technology stack involves recommending and justifying frameworks, languages, and databases based on specific project needs. The evaluation ensures chosen technologies align with project goals, constraints, and quality attributes for optimal system design.

Can I use system design blueprints for existing brownfield development?▼

System design blueprints support both greenfield and brownfield development. For existing projects, the architecture design process evolves current systems rather than starting from scratch, integrating with existing project context and research findings.

How do I document technical decisions for my software engineering project?▼

Document technical decisions by generating a clear architecture.md file that serves as the technical blueprint. This documentation captures technology stack choices, pattern selection, and architectural designs derived from project context and research findings.

What constraints do I need to consider when creating a technical blueprint?▼

Creating a technical blueprint requires adherence to project constraints and quality attributes for optimal system design. These constraints ensure that all technical decisions, including stack evaluation and pattern selection, align with overarching project goals.
